Don Rua was so imbued with the spirit of Don Bosco that he "became a natural extension of the time, so as to consolidate the work of the founder and explode the potential where Don Bosco was not able to get there. No other Don Bosco would entrust the fate of his congregation, Don Bosco in no other hands could deliver his legacy, sure it would have been well placed, indeed it germinate well beyond the Italian and European.
