The title of our Foru M GS cites two fundamental dimensions of human life on earth: membership in a social community ( Citizens ) and the source of membership which we know comes from the top (of the Word ).
Each of us inevitably arises in a community context: this is a fact that does not need demonstrations. The community in which we come to life indelibly marked our personal way of seeing the world, to participate, to interact with it to transform it to deliver a new community to the next generation to be born and to follow up the story. The world is coming to a very personal experience (each, in fact, as their lives) and simultaneously linked to other public, especially to a precedent that we are not but we are parents, ancestors, history in general, sometimes made by strangers. All these "unprecedented" in stages, call us, we are waiting, welcome us, teach us, trust us and, ultimately, rely on us to pass on what they once received. Community life is a fact which refers to an "elsewhere": it implies a transcendence. The transcendence, then, is a fact. There. We did not invent, do not imagine it, we are bound to see something but it is strongly present. For this reason it is presented as a fact (there!) Which, however, needs to be revealed (because it comes before us). It is this which distinguishes it as both a fact of human history and as deductible gift : transcendence is a fact that is understood only in light of a revelation. Hence the vital role of Word and Faith.
